I'm Angela Johnson, the creative force behind The Angela Johnson. With a passion for capturing life's love-filled moments, I blend simplicity and sophistication to create timeless visuals.

Born and raised in Brazil, I met my husband at a bilingual conference in São Paulo. Since moving to the U.S. in 2009, I've been dedicated to creating cherished memories through photography. My journey began in 2012, and with the support of my husband and inspiration from my daughter, I launched Glam Studios in 2019. Nearly a decade later, I continue to capture moments that matter, driven by a genuine love for people.

IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY

I once thought success meant staying busy — editing, posting, keeping up. From the outside, it looked like momentum. Inside, I felt stuck.

Everything shifted when I stepped beyond the familiar. The Dominican Republic taught me warmth. Mexico, bold color. Argentina, romance. Paris, restraint. Amalfi, glow. Brazil, movement. Each place refined my eye.

Travel expanded more than my portfolio, it expanded me. I stopped chasing trends and started refining taste. I stopped creating from urgency and started building from identity. The struggles shaped the refinement. The refinement shaped me. Warm, global, elevated.
